Hello, I'm Piper! I am an independent filmmaker currently based in Boston, MA.

I studied and worked in Paris, France, for 4 years, with a few summers spent studying in Boston along the way. 

I graduated from Paris College of Art & Emerson College in August 2024 with a BFA in film art. I worked closely with a small cohort of talented filmmakers while developing strong writing, directing, and editing skills.  

I grew up in both Bradenton, Florida, and Knoxville, Tennessee. I left for Paris in 2021, and throughout my time there, I took every opportunity to travel. All the unique places and people I’ve met at home and abroad have shaped me into the artist I am.

A lot of my work plays with time, either by taking aesthetic inspiration from other decades or objectively capturing a moment on camera. 
I often work with themes of nostalgia, longing, romance, the American south and the absurd.

I returned to Boston in 2026 to build my body of work and connect with other filmmakers in the city, working in production design or post-production. 

I am currently developing a documentary I look forward to sharing with you soon.
